SQUILL
Squill is the common name for any of about 100 Eurasian plant species of the genus Scilla in the lily family, Liliaceae. Common species are the Siberian squill, S. siberica; the Spanish bluebell, S. hispanica; and the English bluebell, S. nonscripta. Squills are early-spring-flowering bulbs, small in size (usually 15 cm/6 in. in height), with bluish flowers.
