CYCLAMEN
      Cyclamen, genus Cyclamen, is both the common and the scientific name of about 15 species of European and Middle Eastern plants in the primrose family, Primulaceae. The species C. persicum, or florist's cyclamen, is grown extensively as a greenhouse plant. The flower petals of cyclamens turn sharply backward, and the heart-shaped leaves are mottled with white along the veins.
